I am Bartje Kayak,

I have been bitten by the fishing bug since I was young.
It all started on a small pond in Varenwinkel, a small village in Belgium.

When I turned 18, I was finally able to travel to the Netherlands with my car and boat, where I could be found every weekend.
At first, I fished for everything that was considered predatory. Only a few years later did I focus solely on the big predators: pike.

In 2020, we emigrated to Curaçao, where I immediately focused on anything predatory fish. And where tarpon is my favorite.
We've been fishing the waters of Curaçao for several years now, and I've naturally picked up a wealth of fishing techniques. I'd like to share them with you.

It ranges from street fishing to fishing in Curaçao's beautiful bays, all the way to the deep sea. Both morning and evening.
But besides fishing, I also own a bungalow park on Curacao with my wife called Amazing View Bungalows.
Amazing View Bungalows is quietly situated on a hill overlooking the salt pans and the sea.
