Offshore fishing.
We all know it: sea fishing. But sea fishing in the Caribbean is something else entirely. Especially when we have to do it all with my 17-foot aluminum boat, fully equipped for sea fishing here in Curaçao. All of that with rod in hand, requiring all your fishing skills to finally get the fish into the boat.
We have several species swimming around here that everyone dreams of, like wahoo, yellowfin tuna, and many people's favorite, the mahi-mahi. We've been working with this for years, and we can say that each fish has its own unique approach.
We adapt our techniques accordingly, if the client wants to target their favorite fish. We discuss the best time of year beforehand and determine the technique we'll use to catch their favorite.

Trolling, chumming, and livebait are all useful. We also seek out the FAD (Fish Aggregating Devices) buoys that have been placed here in Curaçao. These buoys are placed in the open ocean to gather and attract fish like tuna and mahi mahi. They function as an artificial reef, provide a reference point, and attract prey fish, allowing fishermen to increase their catches. We're naturally happy to capitalize on this.
